Crystal Marie McDaniels is a chaser of good, engaging, “can’t take your eyes or ears away” stories. She has worked with major brands like Disney, Nestle, and Magnolia, and currently manages the Hispanic Outreach Strategy for Duke Energy. She especially enjoys sharing brand journeys in diversity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility. Crystal Marie also writes about everyone’s favorite uncomfortable topics: faith, politics, race, and relationships. Her work has been published nationally in the New York Times, The Root, Relevant Magazine, The Drum and locally by the Charlotte Agenda, Q City Metro and other spaces. Crystal Marie holds a master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a BS from Howard University.
